It is designed in compliance with international standards (IEC, DIN, EIA), ensuring compatibility with all 19-inch and 21-inch equipment. As the frequency of earthquakes has increased both domestically and globally, the importance of seismic design has become more prominent. This seismic rack has obtained certified seismic performance, verifying its structural stability even during earthquakes, and provides reliable protection for internal equipment in high-risk situations. (Certified in accordance with the seismic testing method for broadcasting and communication equipment, National Radio Research Agency Notice No. 2015-14)

Chimney

It is called a chimney rack because the rear of the rack resembles a chimney when installed.

Key Features

Patent No.: KR Patent No. 10-2452096, “Chimney Rack System with Unmanned Door Operation”

Installed at the rear of racks housing communication equipment, this system concentrates hot air discharged from the rear and exhausts it to the outside through an upper duct.
Its core function is to maintain a lower indoor temperature in equipment rooms, thereby reducing air-conditioning usage and lowering overall power consumption.

Additional Features

Real-time monitoring of internal rack temperature through the customer’s integrated monitoring system ensures optimal temperature control, protecting installed equipment.
It also integrates with other environmental facilities to provide optimized functionality, allowing operators to detect abnormalities in unmanned site infrastructure environments.
In the event of a power outage, automatic door opening helps prepare for emergencies and reduces operational risk for equipment.

approximately 20% or more reduction

Applied to high-heat-generating communication equipment such as LTE-DUs, it reduces power consumption by improving air-conditioning efficiency.

In typical communication equipment, cold air is drawn in from the front, used to lower internal temperature, and then expelled to the rear. However, the rear door can trap the hot air, causing internal temperature to rise.
To address this, rear doors are often perforated with air vents or removed entirely to allow heat to escape more easily.
However, this creates a “hot zone” at the rear of the rack where hot air accumulates, increasing the overall room temperature and reducing cooling efficiency.
By eliminating this hot zone and collecting/exhausting hot air outside the equipment room, internal temperature is reduced, improving cooling efficiency and lowering power consumption and energy costs.

The accumulated hot air at the top is discharged outside the building through an exhaust duct.

DC FAN

Emergency operation is possible during power outages
through DC fan operation at the top of the chimney rack.

A DC fan is installed at the top of the chimney rack to efficiently transfer accumulated heat
to the exhaust duct. In the event of AC power failure, it can operate using emergency power
from a rectifier with a backup battery.

Automatic door opening function for power outage and fire emergencies

It is equipped with a temperature sensor and an automatic
opening cylinder, allowing automatic opening during
a power outage to release internal heat.

It is equipped with a temperature sensor and an automatic opening cylinder. In the event of abnormalities such as temperature rise due to power failure or fan malfunction, the door automatically opens to release heat. In addition, a damper inside the exhaust duct closes in case of fire, while the door automatically opens.

It is a copper terminal rack designed for apartment internet (wall-mounted use), allowing selective installation of communication transmission equipment for high-speed internet services depending on purpose. It protects equipment from external environmental factors.

Left and right side openings are easy to access, fluorescent lighting turns on when the door is opened, and it is designed for wall-mounted installation.
